Its calming melodic sounds,

its rippling waters that aligns with my solitude

bringing me to much needed stillness

There is something about the ocean

its thunderous waves

the might of its waters,

so powerful, it can drown your every breath

...with absolutely no mercy

There is something about the ocean

its beauty, its power, the wonder

There is something about the ocean;

that makes me fall deep

but with great fear & respect
